Chesapeake Sheriff's Office Honors Excellence

Sheriff Jim O'Sullivan recently presented Deputy Richard Scott with the Deputy of the Year Award. Over the past year, Deputy Scott and his canine partner Max have been instrumental in removing drugs from our streets and making Chesapeake a safer place to live. The Sheriff also presented Virginia Ginger Bailey with the Civilian of the Year Award. Over the past year she served as the department's Supply and Inventory Manager.
